On 16 April, a training event was held in Barcelona for 80 leading dietitians from Saudi Arabia. The sessions, organised by Sierra Healthcare in collaboration with the University of Barcelona at the Hotel Majestic, featured Adriana Duelo, director of the DAO Institute. Duelo delivered a lecture on the aetiology and treatment of DAO deficiency, offering a practical approach so that attendees could take away strategies to help identify this metabolic disorder in their patients.
